Capturing Leadership: Moonee Valley Mayoral Election

CLIENT

Moonee Valley City Council

PROJECT

The annual statutory meeting was held to elect a new Mayor and Deputy Mayor. The outgoing leaders handed over their roles, symbolized by the presentation of the gavel and robes, with key council members and their families in attendance. The event aimed to document both the formal election process and informal interactions, capturing the essence of the council’s leadership transition.

 Photography Style:

·      Formal portraits and candid shots during the meeting.

·      Brightly lit images with flattering filters.

·      Burst action shots for social media, capturing key moments like the handing over of the mayoral chains.

·      At least one portrait and one landscape version of each shot for versatile use.

·      Formal and casual headshots of the Mayor and Deputy Mayor, with optional headshots for other Councillors.

 DELIVERABLES

·      Immediate: 10-15 low-res photos for social media within 2 business days, including all attending Councillors.

·      Final: All retouched high-res images delivered via WeTransfer or OneDrive within 3 weeks. Each image included alt text/titles for easy identification.
